Applications
Water repellent wax emulsion has a wide range of applications, primarily including:
1. Construction Industry: Used for waterproofing concrete, masonry, and other building materials. It can be sprayed or brushed onto building surfaces to form a waterproof protective film, effectively preventing rainwater, groundwater, and other water sources from eroding the building structure, improving its waterproof performance and durability.
2. Textile Industry: Used for water-repellent finishing of fabrics, giving them water resistance while maintaining good breathability. Suitable for manufacturing outdoor clothing, tents, awnings, and other items.
3. Leather Industry: Enhances the water resistance of leather while maintaining its softness and breathability, improving the quality and lifespan of leather products. Commonly used in the production of leather shoes, leather clothing, leather bags, etc.
4. Paper Industry: As a water-repellent agent for paper, it can improve the paper’s water resistance, preventing it from deforming or developing mold when exposed to water. Suitable for packaging paper, paper cup stock, and other applications.
5. Automotive Care: Used for waxing and car care, forming a waterproof wax film on the car paint surface, increasing the body’s gloss, preventing rain and acid rain from corroding the paint, and also providing some scratch resistance.
6. Other Fields: In woodworking, it can be used for waterproofing wood to prevent it from warping due to moisture. In metal processing, it can be used as a temporary rust inhibitor for metal products, providing waterproofing and corrosion protection.
