Paraffin Wax Emulsifier
- Features:
-
Paraffin wax emulsifiers are made by melting wax, mixing with emulsifiers and water, and stirring.
Strong Emulsification Ability: Can uniformly disperse paraffin wax in water to form a stable emulsion.
Features
1. Strong Emulsification Ability: Can uniformly disperse paraffin wax in water to form a stable emulsion.
2. Good Stability: Ensures that the emulsion does not easily delaminate or demulsify during storage and use.
3. Wide Adaptability: Has good emulsification effect on different types of paraffin wax and can adapt to various application scenarios.
4. Excellent Environmental Friendliness: Some paraffin wax emulsifiers use environmentally friendly raw materials, meeting relevant environmental requirements.
5. Tunable Performance: By adjusting the formula and process, emulsifiers with different performances can be customized according to needs.

Formulation Guidelines:
1. Typically, for preparing a petroleum wax emulsion, the final solid content (paraffin wax + emulsifier) should be between 20% and 30%. The recommended dosage of the emulsifier is approximately 35% of the paraffin wax weight. Example Formulation (for 100 kg of a 30% emulsion): Water: 70 kg, Paraffin Wax: 23 kg, Emulsifier: 7 kg
2. Preparation Process: Heat measured water to 80-90°C; In a separate vessel, melt paraffin wax and blend with emulsifier; Gradually add the wax-emulsifier mixture to the hot water under stirring; Maintain temperature for 10 minutes, then cool to obtain a stable, bluish-white emulsion.
Applications
Paraffin wax emulsifiers are widely used, mainly in the following areas:
1. Textile Industry: Used for waterproofing and softening finishing of fabrics, enhancing the water resistance and hand feel of fabrics.
2. Paper Industry: Can be used as a paper sizing agent to improve the water resistance and strength of paper.
3. Leather Processing: Helps improve the softness and water resistance of leather and can also be used as an ingredient in leather brighteners.
4. Agricultural Field: Used to prepare plant protection wax emulsions, reducing crop water evaporation and improving their resistance to cold and drought.
5. Cosmetics Industry: Used as an additive in some cosmetics to improve the texture and stability of the products.
6. Candle Making: Can make the candle surface smoother, improve the burning performance and crack resistance of candles.Packaging and Storage & Transportation: 50KG/drum
Storage Conditions: Keep in a cool, ventilated place, and the temperature should be controlled within a suitable range, avoiding high-temperature environments. Store away from sources of fire, heat, strong oxidants, etc.
