EBS Wax
- Features:
- High Melting Point: Higher melting point than many common waxes, maintaining a solid state at higher temperatures, offering good heat resistance.
Features
1. Good Lubricity: Reduces the friction between polymer molecules, improves processing flowability, and makes the surface of products smoother. In plastic processing, it can reduce extruder torque and improve production efficiency.
2. High Melting Point and Thermal Stability: Typically has a melting point between 140-160°C, maintaining stability under high-temperature processing conditions and resisting decomposition. It can function effectively over a wide temperature range and is suitable for various high-temperature polymer materials.
3. Chemical Resistance and Water Resistance: Exhibits good resistance to chemicals such as acids and alkalis, and is insoluble in water. This enhances the chemical corrosion resistance and waterproof performance of products, making it suitable for products requiring a certain level of chemical resistance and moisture resistance.
4. Good Dispersibility: Can be evenly dispersed in a polymer matrix, effectively improving the dispersibility of fillers and pigments in polymers, enhancing the appearance quality and performance uniformity of products.
5. Minimal Impact on Product Performance: Appropriate addition generally does not have significant adverse effects on the mechanical properties, electrical properties, and other properties of polymer products. It can even increase the hardness, gloss, and wear resistance of products to some extent.
6. Hot Melt Adhesive Field: Used as a thickener and lubricant to increase the melting point and bonding strength of hot melt adhesives.
