Food-Grade Microcrystalline Wax
- Features:
-
The product is typically a colourless or white waxy material, odourless and tasteless, with a smooth, slightly greasy feel and a hard texture at room temperature.
Features:
1. The melting point is generally between 70°C and 85°C. It is insoluble in water and can be blended with beeswax, carnauba wax and food-grade emulsifiers to optimize overall performance.
2. The current standard is GB 22160-2008, which sets strict requirements for drop melting point, needle penetration, oil content, colour, light stability and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons. For detailed data, please refer to the COA.

Applications
1. Food Processing: Confectionery / chocolate polishing: forms a bright protective film, providing anti-stick and moisture-resistant properties. Chewing gum base: improves chewing toughness and formability. Release agent for bakery products: used as a demoulding aid to replace fats and reduce sticking. Coating for nuts / fruits: provides preservation and anti-oxidation effects and helps extend shelf life.
2. Food Packaging: Paper packaging (such as cake boxes and food bags): used as an oil-resistant coating Inner coating for metal cans: used as an anti-rust coating. Modification of food-grade plastic films: improves heat resistance and barrier properties.
3. Other Uses: It can also be used for tablet coating, pill coating, hand creams, ointments and similar products.
